Our Team

Community In Motion began as a visionary project within the Office on Youth, sparked by a desire to reach underserved communities in Waynesboro with essential resources and support. The initiative was created by a group of passionate team members who recognized the importance of taking services directly to the people who needed them most.

As the project grew, so did its impact, leading to the formation of Community In Motion as an independent organization. Today, the original team members who spearheaded the project at the Office on Youth are now leading the charge at Community In Motion. Their experience, dedication, and deep connection to the community continue to drive our mission forward.

Community in Motion helps get library cards into the hands of community members that may have otherwise not been served by the library. As many may not know, the library is more than just books. A library card gives you access to K-12 tutoring for kids, resume writing assistance and job skill training, foreign language learning, continuing education for adults, as well as e-books, movies, audiobooks, and magazines through streaming platforms!
